The Junction Landrum SC

The Junction is serving up a country style buffet that will leave you with a smile

Take a drive down South Carolina Scenic Highway 11 from Campobello, SC to Landrum SC and you will come to an intersection, a junction. Sitting on one of the corners is a rustic building with old Glory waving as you pass by. Stepping through the doors is like taking a time travel back to a simpler time when food was simple but good.  This is the restaurant review for The Junction in Landrum, SC.

We were looking for a place to eat and came upon The Junction.

Sign in front of The Junction

The Junction is located at the intersection of South Carolina Highway 11 and South Carolina Highway 14. On this trip my family and I were heading to Cleveland, SC to visit some of South Carolina’s Awesome state parks (Click here for the video of our trip). We were looking for a place to eat and came upon The Junction. We love stopping at a good country restaurant and thought we give this one a try.

As you passed through the door, the first thing you notice is the murals on the wall.

The Junction is occupying an older building that looks to have been an old general store at one time. Meanwhile, the front facade is what immediately captured my attention to the place to start with. I love the rustic faded sign that sits above the front door. I had to give this place a try. As you pass through the door, the first thing you notice is the murals on the wall. No doubt someone in the area is very talented at painting. They stretch the full length of all the surrounding walls inside the main dining area. Painted in picturesque views of the mountains that surround The Junction.

For the most part, The Junction is a country buffet restaurant. They do have a menu you can order off of but I think most people come for the buffet. You walk in and pay as soon as you walk through the door. Grab your plate and “filler-up” with today’s southern food samplings. They have the buffet line, a salad bar, and a selection of a few different types of desserts to choose from. The food was really good and I have to say my favorite thing there was the chicken pot pie with the cornbread rolls coming in second.
