Privacy Policy for Southern Food Junkie

If you require any more information or have any questions about our privacy policy, please feel free to contact us by email at Privacy Policy.

At Southern Food Junkie, we consider the privacy of our visitors to be extremely important. This privacy policy document describes in detail the types of personal information collected and recorded by Southern Food Junkie and how we use it.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Product Reviews

Occasionally, a company sends me products to try and share with my audience. The point of our product reviews is not to tell you it is the best or the worst but simply to share that product and let you be the judge of it.
It is not required for me to make a video or blog post nor do I have to say that I like this product. I would never recommend a product that I did not like or think was suitable for purchase. Not all products reviewed on our website and/or YouTube are sponsored products. We will mark the page with a disclaimer noting the product or review as such.

Affiliate Links

From time to time we share links to other sites that will pay us a small commission if you purchase the item. This is called an affiliate link. We only provide links to products or services that we have used or done research on and can honestly recommend. Sometimes some other products or services may even pay a higher commission amount that we do not recommend because we do not trust or like the product. We try to give our honest review of products. We always want our readers to have trust in what we do.

Log Files

Like many other Web sites, Southern Food Junkie makes use of log files. These files merely log visitors to the site – usually a standard procedure for hosting companies and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses and other such information are not linked to any personally identifiable information.
